CEZAR ARRO (Philippines, b. 1973) is an Expressionist and Modern Realistic visual artist whose painting career has spanned for more than two decades. There are times when you look at Arro’s work as mere abstact composition but when you take a closer glance, you will notice various facial expressions. It can be a form of nonverbal communication, and these facial expressions convey the emotional state of an individual to observers. His art, without any basis from bound documentation, is part of his imagination and cerebral concept. Aside from regular exhibitions in the Philippines, Arro has participated in international art fairs such as Art Apart (2017) in Singapore, and Affordable Art Fair (2015, 2019, 2023) in Hong Kong.
