NICOLE ASARES (b. 1995, Bohol Philippines) is a visual artist known for her relentless use of textured line. Her work embodies the art of zen-doodles, creating playful and expressive images through patterns of dots, lines, simple curves, and spheres. She draws inspiration from everyday events and the stories of diverse people, enjoying the way they convey humor and playfulness. Her paintings are characterized by bold, graphic lines that seem to leap from the canvas, creating a sense of movement and dynamism.
