KWON RYUWON (South Korea, (b. 1984) visualises positive keywords and uses them as the colour of happiness. She wants to communicate with the world through works that bring good luck. Currently, she is also creating ink works on paper based on cat characters. In today’s competitive modern society, humans competing for status are expressed through anthropomorphic cat characters. These represent complex human relationships, conflicts and selfish instincts. However, even in this competition, the cats reveal warmth and solidarity within humans.
