BELL SISON (b. 1971, Quezon City, Philippines) earned a degree in mechanical engineering from De La Salle University in 1994. After studying and working in photography and furniture design, he discovered a passion for metal sculpture, combining his technical expertise to create innovative works. Focusing on upcycling materials and recycling sustainable resources, his delicate yet intuitive approach creates a contemporary pop-conceptual aesthetic. His sculptures captivate audiences with his ingenious reinterpretation of popular cultural contexts, stories and myths, bringing them to life and vitality.
Sison creates a dazzling collection of adorable pieces including cats, dogs, sea creatures and even mechanical robots. The collection features a variety of sophisticated chrome-plated finish in various colors, creating the ultimate modern visual experience.
Since his debut in 2020, he has held four solo exhibitions and has frequently participated in notable art events in and around the city, including ManilaART, Xavier Art Fest, and the previous Manila Bang Show.
