SALVADOR CHING (b. 1965, Philippines) is a full time multi-awarded painter, installation and performance artist. Ching paints images he sees in his community. Ching mostly uses printmaking techniques in mixed medium and showcases images of people, icons and objects in the past, emerging in the modern and digital technology. He has also done installations using indigenous materials. In his art, Ching wants his audience not only to look but also to engage and read the story behind every piece.

Ching has exhibited at the Affordable Art Fair and Asia Contemporary Art Show in Hong Kong. He has also participated in Asian Biennale Art Exhibitions in Cuba, Bangladesh, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Thailand and USA.
